ሩህ ሚዲያ የተለያዩ የዲጂታል የብዝሃ-መገናኛ አማራጮችን በመጠቀም በአፍሪካ፣ በተለይ በኢትዮጵያ የኢኮኖሚ አስተዳደርና ፖሊሲ፣ ፖለቲካል ኢኮኖሚ፣ ጂኦ-ኢኮኖሚክስ፣ ጂኦ-ፖለቲካ ጉዳዮች ዙሪያ በእውቀትና በዕውነት የተቀረጹ መረጃዎችን ለህዝብ ማድረስን ዓላማው ያደረገ ሚዲያ ነው፤ በዚህ ሚዲያ በዋናነት በኢትዮጵያ ኢኮኖሚ አስተዳደርና ፖሊሲ ላይ ማዕከል ያደረጉ ትንታኔዎች፣ ዘገባዎችና መረጃዎች ለማጋራት ጥረት ይደረጋል፤ ዓላማውም በአገራዊ ኢኮኖሚያዊ አጀንዳዎች ላይ የሚኖረን ግንዛቤ በጥናትና በዕውቀት የተደገፈ እንዲሆን ጥረት ማድረግ ነው

የሩህ ሚዲያ ዋነኛ ግብ ከግለሰብ ደረጃ ጀምሮ እስከ ተቋማዊ፣ ማህበረሰባዊ፣ ህዝባዊ እርከኖች ድረስ በኢኮኖሚያዊ አጀንዳዎቻችን ላይ የምናሳልፋቸው ውሳኔዎች (ማለትም የሚኖረን ግንዛቤና አቋም) በምክንያትና በውጤት የተቃኘ እንዲሆን ከማድረግ አንጻር መሰረታዊ የሆነውን የመረጃና ግንዛቤ ማስጨበጥ ስራ መስራት ነው፤ በመሆኑም ሩህ ሚዲያ ውስብስብ የሆኑ የኢኮኖሚ ጽንሰ ሃሳቦች እና የፖሊሲ እርምጃዎችን በቀላሉ ህዝብ በሚረዳው መንገድ ለማቅረብ ጥረት ይደረጋል፤ እንደየአስፈላጊነቱ የኦዲዮ፣ ቪዲዮ፣ ምስል፣ ግራፊክስ፣ ወዘተ ያሉ ሃሳብ መግለጫና ማስተላለፊያ መሳሪያዎችን ለመጠቀም እንሞክራለን

Established in October 2025, Ruh Media is aimed at addressing contextual factors associated to African economy, politics, geo-economics, natural resource conservation & management, climate change and energy transition issues. Using various digital media platforms, Ruh Media is involved in content creation in text, audio & video formats. The media production involves periodic digital magazine and podcasts

The establishment of Ruh Media is motivated by the founder’s (Mr. Habtamu) firm belief that Africa’s transformation is unfolding at the intersection of policy, innovation, and lived experience. Yet, too often, the narratives that shape both public perception and policy direction overlook the nuanced realities that define this transformation. Indeed, to mitigate African development challenges, it takes to look for a new path, and one such is context-based approaches in development planning, policy and research ventures

The essence of Ruh Media lies in bridging this gap. In Ruh Media, we produce contents that spotlight context-based realities that are essential for informed, inclusive, and sustainable development

With special emphasis given to developmental challenges faced by Ethiopia, Ruh Media eyes original multimedia contents that explore four interlinked areas of critical importance for Africa’s future.

የሩህ ሚዲያ ባለቤትና ሥራ አስኪያጅ የሆነው አቶ ሀብታሙ ግርማ የኢኮኖሚክስ ረዳት ፕሮፌሰር ሲሆን በአሁኑ ወቅት በኬንያ ናይሮቢ ከተማ በሚገኘው የአፍሪካ ኢኮኖሚክ ሪሰርች ኮንሶርቲየም (African Economic Research Consortium – AERC) የምርምር ፌሎው እንዲሁም በናይጀሪያዋ ኢባዳን ከተማ በሚገኘው አንጋፋው ዩኒቨርሲቲ ኦፍ ኢባዳን (University of Ibadan) የሶስተኛ ዓመት የፒ.ኤች.ዲ (በኢነርጂ ኢኮኖሚክስ) ተመራማሪ ነው፤ የመጀመሪያና ሁለተኛ ዲግሪውን ከአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ በኢኮኖሚክስ የትምህርት መስክ ያጠናቀቀ ሲሆን፣ በጅግጅጋ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የኢኮኖሚክስ ትምህርት ክፍል ከ2002 ዓ.ም (እ.ኢ.አ) ጀምሮ ከረዳት ምሩቅነት እስከ ረዳት ፕሮፌሰርነት ደረጃዎች ለ13 ዓመታት ገደማ በማስተማር፣ በጥናትና ምርምር፣ በማህበረሰብ አገልግሎት እንዲሁም በማማከር አገልግሏል፤ በተጨማሪም በተለያዩ አገራዊና አለማቀፋዊ ጉዳዮች ላይ በአዲስ አድማስ፣ ሪፖርተር፣ The Reporter Ethiopia, Addis Fortune እና ethiopanorama ጋዜጦች ላይ በኢ-መደበኛነት ይጽፋል፤ ደራሲው አስራ ሁለት (12) መጻህፍትን ያዘጋጀ ሲሆን፤ አንባቢያን በስራዎቹ ላይ ለሚያነሷቸው ሀሳቦች ወይም አስተያየቶች በሚከተሉት አድራሻዎች ሊያገኙት ይችላሉ፦

Habtamu Girma Demiessie is Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ruh Media PLC. He has been a research fellow at the African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) – a leading capacity building institution in Africa based in Nairobi, Kenya. He is also a PhD scholar specializing in Energy Economics at the Department of Economics, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He earned his bachelor degree in ‘Economics’ and Post graduate (MSc) degree in ‘Economic Policy Analysis’ both from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. Formerly, he was assistant professor of economics at Jigjiga University, Ethiopia. Throughout his career, which began in 2009, Mr. Habtamu has been actively engaged in teaching, research, community service and academic advising in the higher education system in Ethiopia. His professional contributions in consultancy and advisory roles have also benefited various local & international institutions involved in development and policy ventures. Mr. Habtamu Girma is also a writer & freelance journalist. As freelance journalist, he shares his viewpoints on various issues to various Print media outlets based in Ethiopia and abroad. As a writer, Mr. Habtamu authored Twelve (12) books
